I would reckon that something like 80-90% of the narrow angle images of the LMC are of the Tarantula region but there is a lot of other stuff worth imaging. This is NGC 1949, a pretty little colorful nebulous area that I've never imaged before and in fact did not even know existed. The data was a mixture of good and bad with seeing varying from good to poor. I also have a problem with the LMC in that for part of the night it hides behind a tree. Time to call in the tree surgeon I think.
