Have just become aware of a supernova, SN2016gkg, in Galaxy NGC613 (between tick marks).
"NGC 613 is a barred spiral galaxy located 67 million light years away in the southern constellation of Sculptor."
GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, 230 x 30 seconds, HEQ5 Pro, Pentax K-5.
A bit of a rush job but I wanted to get it before the big bad Moon messed it up.
I was looking on here for some nice images taken with real astro cams but couldn't find any?
