No sightings as yet. Plenty of satellites, even blinking satellites. Had one go through a field just after an occultation - and I was concentrating so hard that I did not see it at the time, and only picked it up on review.
If I ever did see one, it would be very hard to verify the existence of LGM. The level of evidence acceptable would be high. A photo would not do. Even several photos. I think that some kind of multi-observer report would be needed along with serious levels of ancillary evidence. Like radar traces, images, views from aeroplanes confirming the behaviour of the UFO ... it would be a big task to collate the evidence alone.
But if the LGM were friendly, then it would be much easier. Just turn up with an ABC film crew at the spaceship door, and ask a few questions about reality TV shows they have watched.
