Not sure why but for whatever reason my D700 will not take an image below a FWHM of 2.8 pixels so I have discovered that even a Bayer Drizzle doesn't have much of an effect so I have just stuck with some plain integration. Hasn't mattered whether I am imaging at 24mm, 35mm, 85mm, 120mm or 680mm, always the same FWHM.
At any rate, reprocessed it and posted a
50% res version on Astrobin plus the
Technical Card has plate solved it all for me
