Large Magellanic Cloud

This is an image that I had wanted to take up at Snake Valley but with the Saturday night clouding out I have since taken it up at Heathcote.

So far I haven't done anything but crop, stretch and quickly play with the curves. It is a 2x6 panel mosaic taken with my D700 and Sky Rover 130mm F/5. Need to work a bit more again on my focuser collimation as it is a bit off at the moment, going to order a holographic projection for my Glatter to mitigate this issue.

Panels 1,2,3,4 & 6 are 15x180s while panel 5 is 29x180 (I slept through my alarm!). Frame edges aren't great due to pretty excessive tilt but ah well, not noticeable after downsizing

Going to do a proper process of this region over the weekend (if I get time). This is a bit of a teaser
