Here's my 1st effort with the Nikon D5100 - not very good I am afraid.
This was only 15 minutes North of Toowoomba, but there was still far too much light pollution to obtain a clear shot.
I take what I can get however!
Both images are 8 seconds at ISO 6400, f 3.4 (need a better lens, the 18-200mm I use doesn't have a very low f-stop functionality unfortunately!)
