Luckly I had removed the mount, scope and associated gear as probably rats would have damaged them as well.
I had hoped to move the unit to the new place but it is just too depressing.
So its an I'll wind that blows no good I am thinking maybe a fibre (inedible) glass dome.
Or maybe I should give away imaging.
