I'm sure that the Canon 350D is a top camera, for both astro work and just pictures and i'd be pleased to own one, but i wouldn't even accept the crappy lenses they can supply with it for 1395.00.
If they can supply the camera, and a 18-55mm lens, and a 75-300mm lens and still sell it for 1395.00, i would hate to think what they consist of.
Talk about insulting a good camera.
