If your PC is USB3 capable, definitely get a USB3 Card Reader as it will upload your photos much faster than a USB2 device.
I use a Lexar USB3 Card Reader that has a Compact Flash (CF) and SD Slot. I made sure of 2 things:
1. It was USB3
2. It could read my UDMA7 CF Cards.
I made sure it was capable of reading UDMA7 Cards as I had an older UDMA6 Reader that would not read my newer UDMA7 CF card.
