I just "found" your NGC 247: http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/157929594 framed as you suggest. Nice! I can see my pic is "upside down" to your pic.
I've been told that the 3 small galaxies are (also) known as (left to right in image): PGC -2794, PGC -2796, PGC -2795.

Yes I recon it makes for a special framing really and worth doing if you can from a good site...then you can see the
real scene
