Recently bought a DSUSB and 10-Pin Nikon Shutter Release for the purpose of doing MUCH wider field astrophotography than what my QHY22 can do. My Nikon D700 doesn't allow 30s+ exposures without a shuttle release with either Maxim DL or BYNikon.
Since then I have bought an intervalometer so that I don't HAVE to use a laptop when doing wide field work. To top it off, after a crash my D700 refuses to communicate to MaximDL and I cannot be bothered trying to fix it to use a device I'm not going to use
So, I now have a DSUSB and 10 Pin Nikon Shutter Release which has never been used and arrived 4-5 weeks ago. Cost $108USD, selling for $120 posted nationally.
