almost the same as when the rubber boots on my muffler/tail shaft assembly degraded -went to the Renault dealer -price to fix $4k..i said WTF?, apparently they won't sell the rubber boots by themselves -had to buy the whole tail shaft. bought aftermarket from the UK for about $100 delivered.
I asked the renault guy did he feel bad asking people for so much money for something so small -got no answer
