I missed these threads (this and part 1, both about 1 y.o.!), so thanks for resurrecting it Ian! Enjoyed the read. I've seen the 18 incher in the flesh - one nice looking scope - but unfortunately only under atrocious conditions. My best views so far have been with 12" GS Dobs.
