Thanks guys. Still trying to figure out a workflow for blending the Ha. To date I've just been using PixelMath and doing a max of Ha and red channel, but I know that is not perfect in terms of luminance and also more red than magenta.
For this image I first made the Ha starless, then still did the max(Ha,R) for the red channel, but also added some starless Ha to the G and B channels to increase lum, then added a touch more to the blue for a slight magenta. Hope that makes sense. It gave the result I was after I think.
Would have liked to bring out the blue reflection nebulosity a bit more. Next time...
