2/10 seeing, cloud, dew, then rain - JUPITER 24th June

Hi All after a week solid of cloudy drissly wonderfulness, there appeared at sunset a break in the cloud. I ran around setting up the scope wondering if Jupiter still had stripes. Dew hit the corrector plate as soon as the cover came off so had to run the hearter on high. Seeing was an appalling 2/10. I didn't care. Put the 4x powermate in and snapped of a couple of avis' before the first drop of rain appeared and Jupiter faded from the screen - been drissling off and on ever since (I wish if it were going to rain it would do it properly!). Processed one avi and here it is.... memories are not made of this ... no nude struts in THIS house

ay least it's given me a chance to practive my new processing routine a) convert avi to BMPs; b) run ppmcentre; c) run RGB split; d) process each colour channels BMPS in registax; e) ME deconvolution in Astra Image and recombined into RGB
