Jupiter June 23rd, from Melbourne

Well looks like a lot of people were out last night capturing images of Jupiter, so thought I would join the band wagon. Seeing was only 4/10, but the SPC900 continues to impress.

Image taken at 10.11pm AEST with the GRS just in view.

12.5" f/5 w/SPC900, 150 of the best frames in RGB processed in Registax and AstraImage using ME deconvolution (4/1.4) and some unsharp masking.

One of the things I have noticed with the SPC900, and it's early days yet, is that there is less detail visible on my lap top screen during AVI capture but more detail after processing. The Celestron NexImage was the opposite, with more detail visible in the AVI's during capture but less detail and a harsher look after processing. Not sure if that's my imagination, so interested to see what others think.
