However, with this slow creeping "legislated" loss of privacy, how long do you reckon before the Guthrie test morphs into a DNA collection process that tags you for life? Medical insurance will be a bummer for some.
I suspect a lot of this stuff is now being done because the computer systems make it cost effective to do.
Once DNA testing is down to even a $100 or so a pop, it will be brought in ( just like semi forced immunisation was ).
