In narrowband though it can be quite vibrant. Same with NGC6357 the Lobster. Do short exposures LRGB for the stars only but don't spend a lot of time there. Maybe half an 60mins should do it (3 x 5minutes each).

I'm with Chris, try it both ways. A complete data set has to be a good thing anyway, and then you can mix and match for a great result.
