thanks roger. next imaging session i see what i can do about the star trials. have an autoguiding interface on its way so hopefully that should fix the problem.
ofcourse the optics on the GSO is better! it is newer
although they both come from the same manufacturer. visually (not trying to make you feel better or anything steve) it looks the same as the GSO but through the DSI it seems clearer. Might be also because im imaging through a DSI II now instead of the DSI-C. *shrugs*
