Well executed h-alpha simply doesn't need colour...which is not to say you shouldn't add it....just don't bugger up the highlight and shadow so beautifully on display here.

Thanks Peter. Yes you are quite correct. Colour is hardly needed for the lagoon as it reacts so well to Ha. Anyway I'm going to try for the colour weather permitting so we'll see what happens.

Thanks. Some imagers only use Hydrogen Alpha because of the nice b/w detail you get with emission nebulae. I'm still going to go for colour though.
