I headed North to near Devonport on Tuesday and got caught 50km out. Horizontal hail is something I have not seen before and the foliage coming across the highway was pretty spectacular. I was blacked out Tuesday and Wednesday and snowed out of the south until Thursday morning. Made a dash for home and started picking up my carport on Thursday night. To tired to have my first shower in 3 days so I crashed. A tree decided to follow suit at 5:30 this morning during a new gale and took out the power lines.... more wind damage. No pumps, no water... NO COFFEEEE Got power back via a by-pass this afternoon.
Poor bloody sparkies looked like they had not slept for a week.

This was not fun!
