2" Barlow won't fit 50mm focuser
Has anyone else struck this, I bought a GSO ED 2X barlow lens and found it wouldn't fit through the focuser ring. I got them measured, The barlow is 2" but the focuser is only 50mm. 0.8mm short of 2" I haven't been able to find any other mention of this on the net, although some mention of this model not fitting all the way in and not achieving focus due to it's length.
Presumably as no one has commented, it means there can't be too many people with the 8" Saxon telescope with undersized metric 2" focusers, or at least that know there scope won't take 2" eyepieces
