I think this is where the sensitivity of the ICX694 chip comes in handy, peaks at 77% QE so there isn't too much that it doesn't grab. Sticks above 60% from UV into IR. The weather has been shocking! Checking the forecast though it looks like Saturday night MIGHT be okay. Got my fingers crossed.

I know

The Astrodon blue filter has a cut at 400nm where as there are others than cut at 420nm which would help reduce the halo. the ICX694 chip is just so sensitive that from what I've been able to read, it is a problem with a considerable number of triplet refractors (even some very well corrected ones).
