Unfortunately for show-offs like me who stick BIG scopes on EQ's it's way too small.
7'2" is suitable for the SCT and small refelector people, but the minimum I have to use is a 9' dome
I measured mine today from Pier to front of scope and it is a radius of 4', so even an 8' dome is no good. Plus my boys won't be able to use their 8" reflector in an 8' dome coz there's has a radius of 4'5".
So in my greed to have a biggy on an EQ I have to go minimum 9'.
Pity, coz the Skyshed Pod seems a good idea.
