I get your point about the Sharpcap PA having a narrow filed of view. That's going to be the real test.
Given that I'm setting up in the same spot most nights I figure it should be pretty easy to start within 5 degrees of the CSP. It seems setting the scope up at a new spot will prove to be a little harder so I'll definitely be keeping the polar scope intact for the rough alignment.
All in all, I still might head down the Polemaster route if I find this software makes a real improvement to my PA routine. There's nothing worse than wasting time setting up equipment when you could be enjoying it. And then the clouds roll in....
