Colin, that's entirely plausible, and I'd agree with you on the bright streak under the NEB. I image with a colour sensor and currently not with an ADC (though I have one, just haven't learned how to use it yet ). Quite often the blue channel is more fuzzy than the others, or the channels don't quite align even with the Registax alignment routine. I can't recall if I checked this Jupiter properly (probably not!) - I was probably too happy with the details I had! I've previously done better jobs by splitting the channels pre-stacking then aligning and recombining the separately stacked channels, but I didn't do that for this one as it's a fair bit of work.
