I'd suggest making inquiries with Telstra to see if you can get a landline set up & make sure the exchange has broadband internet, then look for the best deal you don't have to go Telstra, I have a landline at my place but the internet won't go thru the exchange near me, it's too old & they won't update it, soooo I've gone satellite with TV(no reception) & internet, check out
www.nbnco.com.au 1800687626 to see if your eligible for sat internet, they set it up for free, I just have to pay for the provider each month.

www.myvast.com.au for TV, I had to buy a dish & set top box from jcar or like & they come out & set it up, free from then on.
