I am disposing of various parts that I have for cold finger cooling of Canon 450Ds. Some of these parts would suit other Canon or DSLR models as well.
What I am selling here is:
- One Jaycar 51W/6A TEC unit: ZP9102
- One DeepCool Gammaxx200 Sintered Heat Pipe and fan unit: http://www.deepcool.com/product/cpuc...12/7_471.shtml
- One Copper Cold Finger fabricated to fit a Canon 450D (straight through mode).
- One Canon 450D Mono Sensor, with Argon chamber behind the cover glass.
Together these can be used to build a cold finger cooled mono Canon 450D, or a modify any existing 450D colour model for cold finger cooling.
I would like to sell these parts in one line (together to one buyer) but if no interest I am prepared to sell the items separately. Photos below.
In the interest of full disclosure, the mono sensor has a some minor pixel flaws (as a result of the debayering process) but these can be calibrated out of images captured by the used of dithering and cosmetic cleanup in stacking apps like DSS. So to price, I am asking $140 for the total package plus $15 shipping to any address in Australia, which I believe represents excellent value for anyone seeking to build a cooled camera, and is far below the cost of acquiring the individual items. In the case of the mono sensor, you can't buy them at all.
