I just could not be stuffed with the step after spending an hour nibbling and filing. But if I anneal the copper before bending, the step can even be done by fingers
(not sure how long before copper regains the hardness after annealing).
Richard, I have not seen your build before, very nice. Thank you for the link. That is a very nice flat heatsink/fan combination, now I am considering using that one instead of my old chunky CPU cooler.
