I think you need some encryption software
About 1024/2048 bit encryption would be about right !
You encrypt and decrypt the file each time you want to access it.

Are you trying to hide it from a casual observer or a professional ?

One way is to use for example a MS Word password, that would prevent a non technical user from easily reading it, but these can usually be cracked in a minute by anyone that knows what they are doing. . . or anyone with access to the internet who is intent on reading it !

I dont think there are any easy methods for decrypting 1024 to 2048 bit files just yet. Brute force will take a few times longer than the known life of the universe !

Whats in them anyway !!!
