Here is an image of my first DSO taken a couple of weeks ago, I only just got around to processing it.
Taken afocally with the Sony DSCP100 on the tripod, pointing into a 15mm eyepiece.
3 images of 2 seconds each @ ISO 400 stacked in registax.
It's nowhere near as spectacular as looking through the eyepiece at it, but still, I was just experimenting and seeing what would come out
