Hi IIS'ers. Due to my wife passing away last year I've decided to sell all of our astro gear. We had many fun nights over the years exploring the night sky with this scope. The C8 OTA was removed from it's original mount in late 2013 and fitted to a new HEQ5PRO GOTO mount. Unfortunately it hasn't been used for nearly 2 years now, and I have lost interest, so it's time to go.
- Celestron C8 OTA - Starbright coated optics, original finderscope. Has a GSO Crayford style 10:1 focuser fitted, but still has the 2" visual back as well. Stored in a large plastic case. All in excellent condition.
- Sky-Watcher HEQ5PRO GOTO mount with original and extension controller cables. 240V power supply for the mount. Mount has only been used 4 times - less than 8 hours total, and is in as new condition
- Assortment of eyepieces in a case - Meade, Celestron, Bintel & 1 unbranded. 1.25" & 2"
- 90 & 45 degree 1.25", & 45 degree 2" diagonals. The 2" diagonal has a small chip on the mirror, but outside the field of vision, so it doesn't affect the performance of the item at all
- Home made dew straps
- Other assorted bits & bobs, star charts (photocopies)
Everything has been carefully looked after. Looking to sell complete. $1650 (plus postage if required).
