I use an entry-level Intel NUC...
  • small form factor
  • runs off 12v power
  • 4x USB3 ports
  • built-in wifi (and gigabit ethernet)
  • SATA/SSD ports
  • relatively inexpensive...

It'd be interesting to see what the QHY offers over the above.
