Folks,
We had a nice night of decent seeing in Brisbane last night, and armed with my trusty C11 and ASI224 I set about defending the Earth from its evil photons
Mars is noticeably brighter than my last effort, now we're so close to opposition, it was almost TOO bright at ~f/25. I did stick another Barlow inline at one point to take advantage and maybe increase the image size, but I think...well, maybe I should stack one of the sequences later and see what you think?
Kit: C11 Edge HD, EQ6, ZWO ASI224MC, TV Powermate 2.5x.
Cheers,
Dunk
Edit: added 2 from last night (15/5)...seeing wasn't as good to start off, and it looks a little hazy over Acidalia. A couple of hours later the seeing had improved. I'd also rejigged my optical train for a little more focal length.
Edit2: added a shot from 16/5 with a bit more Acidalia.
