I am always proud of my homeland for establishing the Dark Sky Preserves and the promotion of these seventeen locations. Australia should take note. As our population continues fo grow, and politicians talk about doubling it (no doubt to increase the tax base), it becomes increasingly hard to find true darkness anywhere near a population centre. I believe only the Coonabarabran local government area has recognised this issue. I would like to see Subaru Australia get behind the establishment of dark sight preserves in Australia.
