I have given talks on urban imaging at both Sydney Observatory and the Mudgee Star party....but as I have mentioned earlier it comes down to maximising signal, while minimising noise. Counterintuitively that also means long subs with large apertures.
As for a tutorial...I have a bit on my plate at present. RASNZ have asked me to be the judge (

) for their astro-photo competition across the pond.
Maybe after that is done....

Lots of nice stuff in that area...and if you want to bang out just the one image for an evening...bright and easy works for me.
