Thanks for all the comments everyone.

Well the telescope stayed outside - here is another image of Mars from this morning.

Again, very fast and flickery type of seeing, but a good view of the South Polar Hood with lots of cloud features visible.

One of the aspects that I really do enjoy about Mars observing, particularly with a Mono camera and the Blue channel, is being able to see live on the screen cloud features. A bit like watching the BOM Weather satellite on Earth but on Mars!
