Classic ATM 10"

Picked this up today, originally made in Adelaide, only commercial part is the tube and primary mount (and the primary mount may be a replacement for something else). Story is the builder left school very early and survived by selling Kero (would this be early 1900' ?), he moved on to making and selling Kero tins and ended up managing the machinery side of a large tyre manufacturer in Adelaide. If he wanted something he preferred to make it rather than buy it, he also made model trains (must have been a good bloke ) . He has long since passed as has his son, no one else in the family wanted it so now its at my house.
