127Mak is primarily a lunar/planetary scope, won't cut the mustard for deep sky work.
EQ5 is a bit of a pain for purely visual work, and nowhere near up to
carrying a 10" reflector [or even an 8"].
As Russ said, 10" dob is the way to go for visual; a Go To version even
better if you can find the necessary.
