I also image with camera lenses on an Atik, and find the Rate Training (in Comet Tracking) in PHD2 to be invaluable in dealing with a small amount of differential flexure between the guide scope and imaging cam.

The flex is still there off course, it's just that the comet tracking constantly adjusts the lock position to compensate.
