Nice to see. Was there an impact scar as well afterwards ?bits overcast here so I can't get a look.
The first well photographed event is the one that makes the headlines (Shoemaker - Levi). Being roughly the 27th impact (S-L being 1-22) wont make page 5, never mind a headline.
PS the SL impacts left crescent-shaped marks that persisted in the atmosphere for weeks.
