Hi Graeme, thanks mate. I usually just use a 2X barlow & a 75mm extension tube, but as the seeing was a bit better than my usual 3/10 I decided on throwing another 80mm extension tube into the mix. After a screen preview I was kicking myself for not owning a 4X..I then slid the 900nc out as far as it would go & still be locked with the retaining screw(s) & did the same with the 2 extension tubes. No idea how to work that one out & convert it to F but Jupiter is at least 60% bigger on screen than usual.
Mike, yes a bit grainy but I should be able to make it better; I did a real quick run in Astraimage just after midnight this morning & it came up a lot better.
Yep, rotten dialup my end.
