Like Russell I am single but was married for 32 years to a woman that would not let me spend any money on astronomy - it was not on her agenda. Since the divorce I no longer have to worry about it, I spend what I please or can afford with no accountability. There is no pleasing some people, flowers, new houses, new cars, love, whatever .
