I know what you mean. I think I'm addicted to astronomy and this site! haha. I do enjoy learning though, so that's not a bad thing. Nice moon pic btw!
RE: video, I've just started using "EOS Camera Movie Record". It captures directly to the laptop, with live-screen zoom feature and saves as an AVI. Haven't tried it with Registax yet though...
. Still got a bunch of images waiting in the to-do list I need to get to first.
