I unscrewed the pressure tuner (black cylinder) on my Lunt Solar scope to reset the pressure.

I am now unable to screw it back on to the brass barrel.
It appears that the thread on the pressure tuner is damaged.
As sooner as the thread engages, the tuner jams / locks.

Any suggestions on what to do?
Who does Lunt maintenance / support in Australia?
