Thanks Mike, yes one of my few APODs was a picture of this thing taken with the STL11K. It's interesting to compare the two. While this one has better resolution I feel the APOD was probably more photogenic. It's a problem handling the stars with a blooming CCD like the STXL6303 and this is why I think full NB is the way to go. I'm started collecting SII last night and so far a Hubble palette version is looking quite promising.
