I have been with Telstra for many years and never have a problem with their service.
Recently I had a problem with frequent drop-outs on my ADSL-2, so I called them-they checked the line while I was on the phone and they said there was a problem-booked a date and time for a technician to come out-about 1 week.
He came right on time, found the problem and fixed it and told me my internet was now 6 times faster, and it sure is!
I have always found their BigPond technical help very good, too.
