I'm pretty sure coax is series loop type set up so the more get on the slower it goes.

I'm on cable(coax) and get 60-100mbps most times. sometime may drop to 30.

Other one is that with foxtel running? some of the bandwidth is used up to deliver the foxtel, rest goes to data.
Yup I use speedtest.net and Foxtels very own speed test.

Speeds:
Best speed I should be getting: 11 - 12
Currently getting: Between 2.5 and 7

and on ADSL2+.
