Long time lurker, I came here to post my mount for sale, but I have to be a member for 30 days and have 5 posts in order to do that, so here's my first.

I've been reading all the posts about a DIY observatory, and loved the Absco pool shed idea.

Since the shed is a little too low for my set up, I had to build a foundation to lift it up. I know nothing about building, but had a crack anyway.

The whol process was much easier than I expected and it turned out pretty well. It has a solar panel and ventilation fans to keep the scope from being too hot at dusk.

Attached are photos of the build process. My son now wants to build more things.
