I used copper wire for the stitches these were twisted on the outside and after glassing on the inside were snipped off outside and then the cracks were filled. Below waterline with fibrefilled epoxy and above waterline with polyester.
Then the outside was glass taped with polyester resin.
Any leftover resin was poured into the end where glassing inside is near impossible.
